Air Resources Board Pushes Unrealistic Carbon Goals on California

Along with the California Coastal Commission, the California Air Resources Board more resembles a Soviet-style planning agency than a regulatory body in a free republic. The board wields dictatorial power over virtually every aspect of the state’s economy through its hyper-regulation of energy production.
Its latest report is the “2022 Scoping Plan for Achieving Carbon Neutrality” by 2045. The overall website also contains links to the 11 appendixes and other material. Gov. Gavin Newsom’s website includes a page touting, “California Releases World’s First Plan to Achieve Net Zero Carbon Pollution.”
