Nashville School Shooter Identified by Officials as 28-Year-Old Woman

Three children and three adult staff members at a private elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee, were fatally shot on March 27 after a 28-year-old woman opened fire inside the building, officials said.
The shooter who killed six at an elementary school in Nashville Monday morning “identified as a transgender woman,” Nashville Police Chief John Drake said in a third press conference Monday afternoon.
The shooter was identified as Audrey Elizabeth Hale, 28, of Nashville. Chief Drake said investigations were ongoing at the residence on Brightwood Avenue.
“We’re also determined there were maps drawn of the school in detail of surveillance, entry-points, etc.,” Drake said. “We know and believe that entry was gained through shooting through one of the doors.”…
