Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) demanded answers from a Yale School of Medicine assistant professor on which studies provide evidence of the benefits of cross-sex procedures. The questions came during a congressional hearing on June 15. Meredithe McNamara didn’t offer a single study before Crenshaw’s time ran out. The congressman is the sponsor of a bill that would remove funding from children’s hospitals if they provide such procedures for minors.
America’s youth are dying of homicide and suicide at the highest rate in decades. That’s according to a new study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
