Motorcyclist Shot to Death in Alleged Road Rage on 14 Freeway in Lancaster

A motorcyclist was shot to death on July 4 in a suspected road rage incident in Lancaster.
The shooting on the northbound Antelope Valley 14 Freeway at the Avenue L off-ramp was reported at 2:57 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner identified the 37-year-old motorcyclist on July 5 as Henry Gonzalez. The agency had no city of residency for the decedent.
Highway patrol officers initially responded to what was reported as a traffic collision and discovered the motorcyclist, who was between 30 and 40 years old, had been shot. He died at the scene.
A SigAlert was issued at 3:15  p.m. by the highway patrol. Detectives were still at the scene as of 10 p.m. on Tuesday….
