Mother of Mississippi Boy, 11, Shot by Police at Home Demands Officer Be Fired

The mother of an 11-year-old boy who was shot by a police officer responding to a domestic disturbance call at her home in Mississippi is demanding that body camera footage be released and the officer is fired.
Aderrien Murry was shot in the chest by Indianola Police Department officer Greg Capers in the early hours of the morning on May 20 as he responded to a domestic disturbance at the home, his mother Nakala Murry, and family attorney Carlos Moore said.
The young boy was unarmed and following instructions from Capers, according to Moore.
He was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for treatment and released on Wednesday….
